GC wheel grind is a sharp, green colored, and 99% silicon carbide abrasive123. It is used for grinding tungsten carbide, alloy cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and non-metal (such as rubber, and plastic)1. It is also used for general grinding, heavy duty snagging, cylindrical, centreless and internal grinding, grinding cemented carbide, for bench grinding and centreless grinding applications, non-ferrous materials, cast iron, stainless steel and rough grinding applications2. Silicon Carbide grinding wheels are used for brittle and hard carbide materials, like glass, gem, stone grinding, cutting, or superfine grinding.
